Sick Leave Agreement


As per Section 22(6) of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, the Employer and the Employee can agree to extend the sick leave entitlement and reduce the payment entitlement. This cannot be done unliterally and there are specific restrictions around how this can be done. This agreement can be used to conclude the sick leave entitlement agreement as per Section 22(6) of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and it includes a guide to complete the agreement making reference to what is allowed and what is not allowed.
