This document is a 1/2 a page Word document. It is a basic contract clause for notice of termination as per the Basic Conditions of Employment Section 38. This can be copied into a contract of employment or given as part of the particulars of the employment relationship on commencement of service.
Please note: This template does not include a sentence stating that notice will be deducted if an employee does not give sufficient notice. The reason is that that clause is not allowed by the labour legislation and is not enforceable.
